Meet your crew member

Everyone on the team now has their own AI agent. It answers you in Slack, reads your own mail, calendar and Drive (read-only), and hands real work to Mo, Marlon, Atlas and Molty. Setup takes about three minutes.

Set it up now

  1. Open the cockpit

    Go to exec.shooflyai.com and click My crew member in the left menu.

  2. Claim it

    Keep the name we gave it or type your own, then click Claim.

  3. Connect Google

    Click Connect on the Google card, pick your shooflyai.com account and allow the three read-only permissions. Optional: paste your Fireflies API key (Fireflies → Integrations → Fireflies API).

  4. Say hi in Slack

    Click Open in Slack and send it a DM. In a channel, add it and @mention it; it only answers when tagged.

It can

  • Answer questions from the knowledge base, cockpit data and your own inbox, calendar and Drive
  • Research, summarize and draft for you to review
  • Remember what you asked and track open items until they are done
  • Hand work to Mo (sales), Marlon (delivery), Atlas (marketing), Molty (finance/ops) and report back
  • Look up HubSpot deals and contacts you own

It can't

  • Send, reply to or draft email: mail is read-only
  • Publish anything client-facing without approval in the cockpit
  • Change HubSpot records, quote prices or share company financials
  • See anyone else's accounts, or act in anyone else's name

Good to know

Channels need an @mention. In any channel your crew member only answers when you tag it (type @ and its name). In a DM, just talk. To add it to a channel: /invite @its-name.
Activation is automatic. After you connect Google or Fireflies, the card shows "Activating…" and turns to "✓ can use it now" within seconds. Nothing else to do.
Renamed it? The new name shows in the cockpit right away. Slack picks it up later today.
Personality is yours. Every crew member starts with a neutral voice. Tell it how you like to work in a DM; a guided setup in the cockpit is coming.
Dan: your cockpit login is not a shooflyai.com address, so Google connect is not available yet. Slack and Fireflies work.
Problems? Post in #jh-bots. Your crew member runs on our own server; disconnecting Google ends its access within a minute.
